This workshop is designed to help potential new business owners explore the pros and cons of owning a business and evaluate the skills and knowledge necessary for success. We will discuss ways to investigate the potential of your idea and identify your target market; financing options; plus legal, tax and insurance issues. You will also learn about the wealth of resources Wyoming offers to assist with small business success. If you plan on joining Wyoming’s small business community, this class is a good introduction to this exciting and challenging world.
Speaker(s): Cindy Unger will teach the class. In her work as a Business Advisor with the Wyoming SBDC Network, she has advised entrepreneurs in industries from hospitality to engineering to quilting. Her specialty is helping clients create bankable business plans. In addition to her work with the SBDC, she has degrees in Marketing and Anthropology, and is a small business owner herself.
