Sponsored by the Wyoming SBDC Network and the University of Wyoming Extension, “Start Your Own Business“ (SYOB) will take place on Thursday October 25, from 5-8 PM at The Niobrara County Fairgrounds in Lusk, WY. “SYOB” is designed to help potential new business owners explore the pros and cons of owning a business and evaluate the skills and knowledge necessary for success. We will cover investigating the potential of your idea; identifying your target market; financing options; plus legal, tax and insurance issues. If you plan on joining Wyoming’s small business community, “Start Your Own Business” is a good introduction to this exciting and challenging world. Justin Farley will teach the class. Justin is the Regional Director for the Wyoming SBDC Network, covering Natrona, Platte, Niobrara and Converse counties. He has a background in finance, real estate as well as owned, operated and sold a Papa Murphy’s and Quiznos franchise.
