Thinking about starting your own business? P. J. Burns, Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network Regional Director, is here to prepare you for the challenge. SYOB is designed to help potential business owners explore the pros and cons of owning a business and evaluate the skills and knowledge necessary for success. Discussion topics include: testing the feasibility of your idea, identifying your target market, start-up capital, business legal structures, and more. Bring your questions to this interactive program. Following the presentation, enjoy a tour of CCPL’s Makerspace and learn how your library can support your business. Our Library to Business Center features free resources including developmental and promotional tools and databases, like Gale Business, for step-by-step business plan creation. Speaker(s): Johanna Tuttle has been at the public library for nearly nine years and recently moved to the reference department where she jumped into the Library to Business aspect of the CCPL Makerspace Studio.
