Topic: Managing a Business

Thinking about the future of your business when you retire? Important considerations include: who will manage the business once you are no longer working and how ownership will be transferred. What is the value of the business? How will your retirement funds be paid? Succession planning can be especially complicated in family businesses due to the relationships and emotions involved and because most people are not comfortable discussing topics such as aging, death, and their financial affairs with others. This webinar will help you understand and manage these issues, assisting you with a smooth transition between you and the future owners of your company.

Speaker(s): Leonard Holler is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), and Chartered Global Management Accountant with bachelor degrees in both Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Wyoming. His background includes public accounting experience with regional and national CPA firms. He has also held accounting and financial management positions for a variety of private companies and non-profit organizations. Leonard has been practicing accounting in Wyoming for over 40 years. He spent much of the last 22 years as the Regional Director for the Wyoming - Small Business Development Center located in Casper.
