Start Your Own Business - Dubois

Entrepreneurs looking to start their own business can learn about everything that is required during an upcoming Start Your Own Business Workshop in Dubois. Presented by the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network and Central Wyoming College, this no-cost training will provide a basic overview of starting a business in our state. The workshop will take place on March 19 from 6-8 pm at 308 W. Ramshorn, Dubois, WY 82501. Explore the pros and cons of owning a business and evaluate the skills and knowledge necessary for success. This workshop will cover numerous topics such as: • testing the feasibility of your business idea • identifying your target market • financing options • creating a business plan • and more

Speaker(s): The workshop will be presented by Wyoming SBDC Network Regional Director Sarah Hamlin. Hamlin comes from a marketing and operations background with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver, a MBA from Colorado State University, and a certificate in Social Media Marketing from SUNY Plattsburg. In addition to general one-on-one business advising, Sarah specializes in social media and digital marketing.
